Further to my post about the Anti-Catholic English FA putting England out of the World Cup, it was interesting to read that Wesley Sneijder, of Holland has become a Catholic! It seems that the Dutch FA have not made a fuss about it and they are now in the final!
I may not be supporting them in the final as they invaded the British Isles in the late sixteen hundreds and helped enforce protestant rule, by overthrowing James II the rightful Catholic King. But who am I to hold a 300 year old grudge!
