Discovering Chesterton, England's Prophet, Poet and Defender of the Faith

Our Lord said, "A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and in his own house, and among his own kindred." People all over the world love Chesterton and find his writing inspirational & life changing. Meanwhile, in his own country, thousands of people have never heard of him...

You can change that by coming to the Discovering Chesterton Conference in London on Saturday 13th June, and by inviting others to attend. With talks from 

• Fr Spencer Howe, official Chaplain for the USA based Society of G.K. Chesterton, speaking on Chesterton as Scrappy Evangelist.
• Fr Gabriel Diaz, translator of Chesterton's famous poem, The Ballad of the White Horse into Spanish, on setting Chesterton's work to music.
• Fr Simon Heans, Chaplain to the shrine of St Augustine in Ramsgate, speaking on Chesterton's poetry.
• Stuart McCullough, Founder of the Catholic G.K.Chesterton Society , speaking on Father Brown, GKC's detective.
• Other topics include Chesterton's Life, and Gilbert & Frances'Happy Marriage
