Catholics Don't Take the Pill or The Tablet Part II

Further to my post, Catholics Don't take the Pill or The Tablet I have written to the Parish Priests where I mostly attend Mass. I have asked one to stop selling The Tablet and asked the other Priest to stop leaving his old copy out at the back of the Church and asked him to cancel his subscription. I enclosed a printout of my post so as to make the reasons clear, please do the same if you know a Priest (or anyone else) who reads or sells this rag. I will be writing to my local WH Smith this week to ask them to stop stocking it or loose my custom, do let me know what reply you receive from your local WH Smith and from your Priests.

Final Conflict in fact sent this but it needed editing

I no longer use WH Smith having had a very public row with their Paddington Station manager about the selling and placement of homosexual magazines at child level.

He said they were not porn.

I opened one, there and then, and found pornographic adverts in the back of the mag.

The manager refused to remove them and when I went back one week later they were still on the bottom shelf where they could be picked up and perused by any children in a shop that is very busy and therefore staff controls of such events minimal.

I would ask all Catholics to avoid shops that stock/promote such magazines and to make it perfectly clear why they are doing this.

Our souls and the souls of our children are at stake.

This one come as an email, "I haven't a google account but"
Room for humour, even regarding the Tablet....

The Tablet has been quite efficient in following up those whose subscription is due. One friend was rung some years ago, and, thanking the caller, said that they weren't renewing their subscription, as they now get a Catholic paper.....
