Bishop Stack, very kindly Confirmed 39 Catholics today in the Old Rite, at St James, Spanish Place. One of whom was my nephew, Michael, son of Moira. I was privileged to be his Sponsor.
This is the third year that Bishop Stack has carried out these Confirmations, organised by The Latin Mass Society. God bless him, I say. Do drop him a line (lindamurphy@rcdow.org.uk) of thanks along with one to Vincent Archbishop Nichols (archbishop@rcdow.org.uk) for continuing this annual event.
Everyone was there, but it was nice to see the Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer, aka Translapine Redemptorists as I read their blog from time to time.

I see you took advantage of my setting up a photo-shoot of the Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer... and you didn't come and say hallo.
I shall sulk.
However, it could have been much, much more serious. If you'd snapped me, I would have to hunt you down and kill you...
;-)
You think that's bad? I was standing in the hall at Spanish Place towards the end of yesterday's reception when suddenly a group of priests marched up for a photo shoot and 3 Catholic bloggers rushed up to snap them! Well, I nearly joined them myself but I suddenly remembered that I don't have my own personal rant er I mean blog, so I put away my camera. Only to have missed the chance to get Fr Hermeneutic, Mulier Fortis and the Diabolical Ecumenist all in one shot, snapping the good Fathers! I have been kicking myself ever since.
As we - well two fifths of my tribe had hitched a lift home from E.D. and the other three fifths were getting itchy feet to be off and find a train, there was little time left him to be sociable.
And I've just seen the timestamp this comment will have...! With a resolution to purloin your nice photo of my son and Bishop Stack tomorrow ... I'm calling it a night!
1.28am!
No...really? I think the system must have erroneously used the Chinese clock... maybe.
